Alan Ridout’s Partita for cello solo consists of six movements, using various Euler-Fokker genera, which are 12-tone just intonation including intervals of the harmonic seventh, projected onto the 31-tone scale. Lively and more quiet movements alternate in this attractive, well-playable composition.
